OFFICIAL RULES

  1. ELIGIBILITY. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. The Spring Singles Contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age by May 1, 2022. Employees of the Sponsor (as defined below) and their immediate families, their IRS dependents, and members of their same households are ineligible. Anyone who attempts to defraud or in any way tamper with the Contest will be ineligible.
  2. HOW TO ENTER: The Contest begins May 1, 2022 at 12:01 am (PST)and ends May 31, 2023 at 11:59 pm (PST). To enter the Contest, eligible participants must go to [WEBSITE] and download, complete, and sign the Spring Sound Recording Agreement Form (the “Recording Agreement”) and submit the executed Recording Agreement via email at [email protected] together with a sound recording embodying your featured musical performance of an original musical composition (collectively, the “Work”) not previously recorded by you or released (collectively, an “Entry”). To be eligible, each Entry (including the Work) must be wholly original to you and free of any third party claims. Any form of entry other than those described herein is void. All eligible participants who enter the Contest are referred to as “Entrants”. ENTRANTS MAY NOT EDIT, ALTER, OR OTHERWISE MODIFY THE RECORDING AGREEMENT OTHER THAN TO POPULATE THE INDICATED FIELDS WITH THE APPLICABLE ENTRANT’S PERSONAL INFORMATION. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, EACH ENTRANT HEREBY EXPRESSLY AGREES NOT TO DELIVER AND/OR OTHERWISE SUBMIT THE WORK TO ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICABLE ENTRY, AND EACH ENTRANTS SUBMISSION OF AN ENTRY CONSTITUTES THE APPLICABLE ENTRANT’S ACCEPTANCE OF THE FOREGOING RESTRICTION.
  3. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: All eligible Entries will be judged by a panel of experts on or about every two (2) weeks commencing May 14, 2022. Entries will be judged based on the applicable Entry’s creativity, originality, technical quality, and commercial potential and viability for the manufacture, sale, and other exploitation of records in the music industry. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email. If a potential winner cannot be reached after five (5) days from first notification attempt, or a potential winner is found to be ineligible, does not comply with these Official Rules, or cannot or will not accept his/her/their prize, the applicable Entry will be deemed ineligible, and the remaining Entries may be re-ranked and awarded pries without consideration of the disqualified Entry. Entrants may submit more than one (1) Entry. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and any and all decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
  4. PRIZE(S): Each winner will win a recording contract with Sponsor on the terms and conditions of the winner’s executed Recording Agreement submitted as part of the applicable winner’s Entry.
Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes: $10,000.00 USD
  1. PRIZE LIMITATIONS: All expenses not specifically included in the prize as described in these Official Rules are hereby excluded. Winners may not substitute another prize or receive a cash equivalent. The Sponsor, at its sole discretion, may substitute a prize or cash of equal or greater value for any reason. Any depiction of prizes is for illustrative purposes only. The Contest is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state and local laws. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes on prizes. The Sponsor is not responsible for delay in prize delivery.
  2. WINNERS RELEASE FORMS: Winners must execute, notarize and return within five (5) days of receipt by each winner a liability release, a publicity release (where legal), and any other documentation that the Sponsor requires. Except where prohibited by law, each winner’s acceptance of the prize is permission for the Sponsor to use each winner’s name, photo, likeness, biographical information, statements, voice, and address (city and state only) for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in all media, without further compensation.
  3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering the Contest, each Entrant releases the Sponsor, their advertising and promotion agencies, and any agents involved in the development, production or handling, implementation and distribution of the Contest, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, officers, employees and any other person/entity associated with the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Entities”) from any and all liability for losses/injuries/expenses of any kind (including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death) resulting from participation in the Contest, including acceptance and/or use/misuse of prize, or any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize. By entering the Contest, each Entrant also grants the Sponsor the right to use the entry information for marketing purposes to the extent permitted by law, and releases the Sponsor from any claims or liability relating to such use. Entrants agree that none of the Contest Entities has made or is responsible for any representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prizes.
  4. CANCELATION/MODIFICATION/SUSPENSION: If for any reason the Contest cannot run as planned, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, and/or suspend the Contest.
  5. JURISDICTION: Any claims or lawsuits related to the Contest brought against the Sponsor shall be brought in the federal or state courts of the State of California. By participating in the Contest, you agree to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts, and waive all objections to such jurisdiction and venue.
